A young college student, shy and afraid his number will be called next in the draft, is soon to begin an adventure different than any he could ever have imagined.
The time is 1969, the war is in Vietnam. Kyle is a music major looking for meaning and direction in his life, and maybe a nice girl to date. He thinks he has the date when Hannah enters his music practice room at the university, even though she carries an odd contraption called a Ouija Board and entices him to meet a spirit named Gladys. He doesn't realize that this encounter will be the start of a life-long journey where he connects with those on the other side and that this brief moment will forever change the direction of his life. Kyle, unfortunately, doesn't get the girl but he is introduced to so much more.
